Michelle Wallace is an accomplished Nurse Practitioner known for her compassionate care and dedication to holistic wellness. Her journey in nursing began with the pursuit of excellence at the University of Indianapolis, where she obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing in 2009, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010. During her early years as a registered nurse, Michelle gained valuable experience across various specialties, with a particular focus on geriatric and psychiatric care at Indiana University Morgan County Hospital. Michelle’s passion for promoting overall well-being led her to serve as a Wellness/Triage Nurse and Health Coach from 2014 to 2016, where she demonstrated her commitment to empowering patients to achieve their health goals. In November 2016, Michelle furthered her education at Walden University, earning both her Master of Science in Nursing and her Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (AANP) degree. For two years, Michelle immersed herself in behavioral health, devoting her care to patients grappling with substance use disorders, including Suboxone/Medication-Assisted Treatment, and mental health challenges. Her practice centered on psychopharmacologic management and cognitive behavioral therapy, with a primary focus on opioid addiction recovery and mental health support. Michelle’s approach to patient care is characterized by compassion, encouragement, and empathy. She believes in treating the whole person, integrating medication, counseling, and faith to promote healing and wellness. In September 2022, Michelle embarked on a new chapter in her career, joining the Carelock team as a provider in Arizona. Outside of her healthcare career, Michelle is also a licensed real estate agent. Her diverse interests and talents reflect her passion for helping others and making a positive impact in her community.
